From the masjid
Alhamdulillah — starting Friday, September 11, we are adding a second Jumu'ah prayer to accommodate our growing congregation. The khutbah time will be announced shortly.
The first Jumu'ah continues as usual: doors open at 1:20 PM, khutbah at 1:45 PM, at 201 Centre Street South (United Church building — please use the side entrance by the parking lot).
Our community
Whitby Muslim Society is a registered Canadian charity working to establish the Muslim community in downtown Whitby with social and religious services. We gather at the United Church building at 201 Centre Street South — a young community, growing every Friday.
Friday khutbah and salah in downtown Whitby. Doors open at 1:20 PM — come early, parking is available on site.
Nightly Taraweeh prayers during the blessed month, announced each year before Ramadan begins.
Gatherings and programs that bring Whitby's Muslim families together through the year.
A CRA-registered charitable organization — donations are eligible for tax receipts.
